The Center for Assessment, Evaluation, and Educational Programming (CAEEP) at Virginia Tech incorporates technology into the collection, maintenance, analysis and reporting of data. The center provides multidimensional services to clients in education, government, business, and industry, such as local and state education agencies and corrections in the public sector, and industry and health agencies in the private sector. CAEEP's objective is to provide clients efficient and secure systems for collecting, compiling, storing, and analyzing data and reporting results. These systems have applications in formative and summative evaluation, survey research, and operations monitoring, while improving the reliability, validity, and timeliness of the data.
